How do you McPlayland…
The creative community talks about this in many ways, but I want to know what you think!

As a kid my favorite game we use to play on those dead air summer nights in north west Pennsylvania was “Kick The Can”. Which as vintage as the game may be it was adapted to suit all players in the game. The rules were simple and everyone who wanted to play could regardless of age, size, or popularity. Play I believe is meant for everyone, by everyone, and adapted by everyone. Play in itself is a game with its main rule being to get inspired.
Now a days I find myself playing less and working more, but whenever I do have a really really good idea usually its because I was playing. So how do you play? Where do you find play at work? Playing isn’t just about messing around on twitter, or spending sometime on Facebook.
In my day to day I need to set aside as much time as I can to play, with people I find just talking about buzz topics really help me inspire myself. Finding out how people feel on HOT TOPICS…really gives me a drive to do great things. I keep a very closed off opinion, and never make these conversations stupid arguments. Yet seeing that kind of passion out of someone is rare, and embracing it is the best thing I can do.
So how do you play? Do you play? Success stories?

This may be off topic a bit but your comment about kick the can reminded me that our kids really don’t visualize and think creatively enough. Virtual reality may have taken away a bit of the brainstorming and creative side we all need.
I really need brainstorming time, and digital doesn’t always suffice.
