Welcome to the first-ever online community dedicated to growing creative talent in Northwest Indiana. If you’re from the Region, are highly creative and wish to play an integral part of an ever-growing creative community, you are in the right place.

So, what’s this website all about?

Simple. Northwest Indiana Creative is a website that works to unite and inspire all members of our creative community.

What is this community about?

Northwest Indiana Creative is a community aimed to unite and inspire all members of our creative community. As a member, you’re encouraged to contribute your unique creative experiences, along with professional insights and perspective.

Whether you’re a graphic designer, photographer, art director, copywriter, web designer, creative director, web developer, production artist, printer or a creative who doesn’t quite fit into any set mold, you’re welcome here.

How can I become a member?

It’s easy. You just need to have a background as a professional and professional client work in your portfolio. That’s it. When you’re ready, submit a request with your portfolio to online. Upon acceptance, you will receive access to the website.

Are there any rules or regulations?

Yes. To keep this creative community professional, we have established some ground rules for members. They are as follows:

1) You are encouraged to share current or past works, personal thoughts, helpful creative tools, upcoming events and most importantly, network with others. This is not a place for you to advertise your business, promote yourself or blatantly showcase your portfolio.  If you cannot abide by these rules, your membership will be revoked and all your data will be removed from the website.

2) There is to be no slandering anyone’s name or work. You won’t be expected to like everything you read or see, but we do expect professionalism and maturity from all our members. Slander will serve as immediate grounds for removal.

3) You may post or share work with others but only with the intent of soliciting creative feedback and/or starting general discussion. As was stated before, you may not promote your business or your portfolio. This is not a business community; it’s a creative one.

4) All site submissions will be reviewed before they go live.

5) As a member of this site, you are expected to play an active role in this online community. If your account goes without any activity for longer than 3 months, it will be removed. If you are not going to interact with other members, please, do not request a membership.

If you’ve been looking for a place to learn, grow and interact with other creative-minded people in Northwest Indiana, you’ve definitely wound up in the right place. Where we live, it’s hard not to get consumed by the Chicago creative market, and it’s about time we have a community to call our own. Let’s work together in making this community great!
